Case Study-A person experiencing homelessness
On completion of this case study you will have achieved the following learning objectives:
- Analysed at least three issues contributing to homelessness
- Described barriers to healthcare for individuals who are homeless
- Identifiedkey communication skills when consulting a person who is depressed and/or homeless
- Considered wider system issues in the management of ‘revolving door’ cases
Additional information
This case study has been developed for the use of GPs in training as part of the Health Equity Focused Training programme. It can be used for individual learning and in facilitated and self facilitated small groups.
