The Smartcard Sponsor E-Learning is designed to give you an overview of the sponsor role, guiding you on how to add/remove Smartcard access for staff on the Care Identity Management, how to unlock Smartcards and assist with renewal of Smartcard certificates that are due to expire.It is also the responsibility of the sponsor to request replacement Smartcards that have been reported lost or damaged and to ensure all staff have completed the Terms and Conditions of the Smartcard.
Once the course has been completed and a pass grade of at least 60% has been achieved in the final assessment at the end of the course, RA will assign sponsor access to your Smartcard profile.
