Creating enabling clinical environments for autistic student nurses

This year long project funded by HEE is aimed at collaborating with practice partners and co creating knowledge with our autistic student nurses. The project is identifying ‘soft landing ‘ placement areas that can accommodate a stable pace of learning for autistic individuals and provide a more inclusive clinical experience.
