ESNEFT - Preventing & Reducing Harm From Falls in Hospital

There will always be a risk of falls in hospitals given the nature of the patients admitted and the injuries that may be sustained are not trivial.

However, there is much that can be done to reduce the risk of falls and minimise harm, whilst at the same time properly allowing patients freedom and mobilisation during their stay in hospital.
