Not yet rated

Preceptorship is a structured programme that guides and supports all newly registered practitioners to transition from student to an autonomous professional within the NHS. It provides the foundations for lifelong learning and development to help you begin the journey from novice to expert (Department of Health, 2022). Preceptorship is one aspect of Continuous Professional Development that aims to build your confidence, and further develops your competence to practise and deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.
