The aim of this course is to improve healthcare professionals and trainees' knowledge about breast cancer in young people.
Specifically designed with learning objectives to support healthcare professionals to confidently deliver breast awareness as part of health promotion, our online module supports you to identify key breast cancer statistics, explain the principles of breast awareness and describe signs of breast cancer, as well as how to check.
The module also covers information about broader subjects of relevance to healthcare professionals such as health inequities, when to make referrals, identifying opportunities to have the chest check chat and signposting patients to key resources.
This module is worth 1 hour of CPD.
