Basic nursing care for patients with a sickle cell disorder

This session looks at the basic nursing care required for our service users in inpatient wards. It will also present the signs of a deteriorating patient with a sickle cell disorder (SCD) and explain how to implement appropriate monitoring for inpatients with SCD and when to escalate care.
