Resource details

Haematopoiesis is the process through which blood cells are formed from haematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). This process, essential throughout life, is influenced by ageing, which brings significant changes in the haematopoietic system. The presentation explores how somatic mutations accumulate over time and their implications for both normal haematopoiesis and the onset of haematological diseases.
