Course Description (Long)
Power Query offers a multitude of features dedicated to assisting users in cleaning and preparing data for analysis. This module guides learners through simplifying complex models, altering data types, renaming objects, and pivoting data. Additionally, it delves into profiling columns to identify which contain valuable data essential for deeper analytics. By the end of this module, participants will be adept at resolving inconsistencies, handling unexpected or null values, and addressing data quality issues. They will also be equipped to apply user-friendly value replacements, evaluate and transform column data types, and combine queries effectively. Furthermore, the module emphasizes the importance of applying intuitive naming conventions to columns and queries, as well as editing M code in the Advanced Editor.
