Assessment of Audit/Quality Improvement (QI) Project (ACP)

Not yet rated

The Assessment of Audit/Quality Improvement (QI) Project (ACP) is a structured evaluation tool used to assess a healthcare professional’s ability to conduct clinical audits or quality improvement initiatives. This assessment focuses on how practitioners identify areas for improvement in patient care, apply evidence-based practice, and implement meaningful changes to enhance service delivery.

The purpose of this assessment is to ensure that practitioners, particularly those in advanced practice roles, can critically evaluate current practices, collect and analyse data, and develop interventions that lead to measurable improvements in patient outcomes. It also helps assess leadership, problem-solving, and reflection on practice, all of which are essential for maintaining high standards of care. The assessment of audit is commonly used in professional development, credentialing, and competency frameworks to support continuous improvement in healthcare settings.
