What type of training is it?
- Self-directed learning - approximately 3 hrs

Course overview:
- A two-part interactive VR360 resource offering immersive experiential learning in mental health inpatient ward setting.
- Simulates a psychosis scenario, progressing through de-escalation, physical intervention, and rapid tranquillisation.
- Includes expert panel discussions, pop-up scenes, and questions to reinforce key procedures and safety practices.
Learning outcomes:
This training will enable you:
- Understand the stages and decision-making involved in rapid tranquillisation
- Improve communication, safety, and medication selection in mental health crisis situations.
- Build confidence in responding to challenging behaviours using immersive, scenario-based learning.
Please noteThis training has 2 parts of interactive e-learning. You will need to complete each e-learning package in one sitting, as it is not possible to bookmark.
