This quality assurance project aimed to set up a framework to assess the effectiveness of DREaM Academy in it’s teaching activities focusingon the FRCR Part 1 Anatomy Teaching.

Objectives
1. Compared examination performance locally with national trends.
2. Survey ST1 residents to assess the impact of teaching on their confidence and examination performance.
3. Identify what went well and things that can be improved upon.


Methods
We collected anonymous data from the Royal College of Radiologists looking at examination performance for the Part 1 Anatomy examinationwithin the east midlands and nationally. We analysed trends comparing mean scores, pass marks and passes at the first attempt. Wealso surveyed current ST1 residents at the start and end of the Part 1 Anatomy teaching assessing confidence and readiness for the exam.
