Enhanced Learning Resources Programmme
The NHS England National Workforce, Training and Education (WTE) Directorate EDI Team have launched the Enhanced Learning Resources (ELR) programme to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across NHS Education & Training programmes.
This initiative delivers practical tools and guidance to embed inclusive practice across clinical and academic learning environments, supporting the development of a consistent, system-wide approach to inclusive education and inclusive practice.
The programme comprises a series of evidence-led sub-projects and learning resources, each focused on defining effective EDI training practices across key themes, including Clinical Leadership, Inclusive Healthcare Training, and Cultural Awareness. Each strand will draw on academic research, practitioner experience, and lived experience to inform future training design. Explore the training and learning resources available in this catalogue.
