This course provides a foundational overview of HCID in the NHS context. Through a series of interactive learning modules, you will broaden and deepen your knowledge of the recognition, assessment, diagnosis and safe clinical care of patients with suspected HCID infection. This includes enhanced infection control measures essential to prevent onward transmission to patients and staff members. Content is based on evidence-based guidelines produced by the UK Health Security Agency, Health and Safety Executive and Advisory committee on dangerous pathogens.  It is aimed at NHS Doctors and Nurses working in infectious diseases, emergency and acute metidine, ITU and infection control. The course was developed by members of the UK HCID network.
