Lancashire and South Cumbria AHP Faculty
The Lancashire and South Cumbria AHP Faculty was established in February 2021. One of its purposes is to bring together the workforce priorities for Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) in Lancashire and South Cumbria including NHS, Social Care, Primary care, private and voluntary sectors.
By doing so, it aims to ensure a sustainable supply of AHPs to support the delivery of safe and effective care, whilst promoting diversity and optimising working together to improve retention and growth in the AHP workforce
By providing a centralised location for useful resources, this Faculty platform will share knowledge, experiences, and best practice across the Health & Care Partnership (H&CP).
Here you will find resources developed by the Faculty, alongside the clinicians within the region, that can be used by AHPs in any setting to support them in developing their practice and the practice of others e.g. colleagues from the same/different professions, student education and careers.
We hope the content will support, inspire and motivate good practice and collaborative working to develop AHPs across the Lancashire & South Cumbria area and the wider AHP Community. The Faculty is here to support you, please get in touch. Our contact details are:
