Maternity Telephone Triage

CQC and RCOG recommendations are that all midwives are adequately trained to perform telephone triage, including red flags, documentation and communications. This interactive learning course walks midwives through the key guidelines, documentation and safetynetting, communication skills and vulnerable women as well as real life case studies and a competency quiz for trusts to evidence compliance with training. This has been made in collaboration with East and North Herts NHS Trust, Sara Kenyon MBE and the BSOTS team
