Place of Birth Options for Healthy Low-risk Women

All healthcare professionals working in maternity settings need to provide good quality, unbiased information about birth so that women can make a genuine choice.

This programme is primarily designed for midwives to assist in their discussions with women about their place of birth options. It will also be of interest to all those involved in the care of women and their babies.

This programme was originally located on the elfh hub and was first published on 3 April 2019. It migrated on to the Learning Hub on 29 November 2023. The programme was reviewed in September 2022.
