Coaching Models in Clinical Practice Toolkit
A National toolkit and resources for coaching models is developed to compliment and accompany the national framework to embed the NMC Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment.
The Coaching Models in Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Practice Toolkit is designed to help organisations responsible for educating learners in practice settings to plan, implement and embed coaching approaches. Key organisations involved in education and training across health and social care may include education providers and placement providers.
The toolkit clearly sets out the actions expected from practice supervisors and practice assessors and will also be useful for learners who want to understand the recommended approach and what is expected of them.
