National Coaching Community of Practice Documents
The online Coaching Community of Practice takes place quarterly and exists to provide an opportunity for a multi-professional group of individuals who share a common interest to:
- Develop, embed, and sustain coaching approaches for the supervision of learners in clinical practice,
- Come together to collaborate, share knowledge, and develop their skills through regular interaction.
The primary goal of a Community of Practice is to foster learning, improve practices, and drive innovation by exchanging insights, experiences, and ideas among members.
The role of the Community of Practice is to:
- Provide a space for practitioners to connect with one another across services, education and professions, building relationships and networks
- Facilitate dialogue, increasing insights into the use of coaching approaches for the supervision of learners in practice
- Promote formal and informal opportunities for collaboration
- Role model collaboration in action
- Bring together a multi-professional group and facilitate knowledge exchange
- Provide a supportive space for reflection
- Foster and promote the sharing of good practice.
