Welcome to the NHS Commercial Learning and Development Centre of Excellence Catalogue. 

Available to all NHS and health care commercial staff members, in this catalogue you will find curated, module specific content that has been designed for NHS users from world leading providers, delivering a holistic, inclusive and end to end learning and development package for every staff member whether you work in procurement, logistics or data, systems and analytics.

To help identify which modules are relevant to a learners role, they have been classified into different levels as detailed below

Level 1/2 – Tactical

• A role where an individual develops their basic skills undertaking key tasks to an overall department process under direct supervision and within their department delegation

Level 3 – Operational

• An individual who has acquired a foundation of procurement, logistics, or analytical skills needed to have the responsibility to deliver specific outputs and provides sound judgement on department deliverables with reduced supervision.

Level 4 – Manager

• A procurement, logistics, data professional who undertakes activities and provides guidance and advice to others.

Level 5 – Professional

• A procurement, logistics or analytics specialist who is also a leader within the department and actively builds capability across the function.

Level 6/7 – Senior Leadership

• A senior leader, specialising in commercial with responsibility for NHS commercial functions. (Job titles may include Head or Director of Procurement).
