This set of resources is developed by the National Forum for Oncogeriatrics (NFOG). The forum began in 2022 and includes members from across the UK, with a shared focus on advancing geriatric oncology.

Our forum provides a platform for sharing ideas, facilitating networking, and collaborating on projects relating to education, research, and service development.

Our objectives include:
• Supporting the provision of an annual national study day about geriatric oncology
• Creating and maintaining an online resource to support the development of geriatric oncology services
• Working closely with organisations including the Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG), the British Geriatric Society (BGS) and Macmillan Cancer Support to promote advancements in geriatric oncology
• Influencing policy relating to older people with cancer at a local and national level.

The aim of the catalogue is to provide a centralised set of resources for people interested in setting up a geriatric oncology service. It aims to provide information and resources to help get started.

The resource is designed for clinicians at all levels, academics and researchers, and those working in third sector organisations such as charities, who have an interest in progressing cancer care for older people to improve experience and outcomes.
