Post COVID Services
The Long COVID Programme at NHS England has developed a training programme aimed at healthcare professionals working within specialist post COVID services for adults.
The training programme has been informed by multiple healthcare professionals including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists and physicians. It aims to improve knowledge in the clinical management of long COVID by providing good quality, accessible and up-to-date training resources, which cover a spectrum of patient needs. The training focuses upon the biopsychosocial nature of post COVID care.
Knowledge and guidance of managing people with long COVID continues to evolve. By completing this training, healthcare professionals will gain a greater understanding on current approaches to managing long COVID and supporting people so they can start to recover.
