SWEET Nurse Consultation Training
This training programme has been developed by the SWEET Research Team, for nurses who are taking part in the SWEET study and delivering the nurse consultations.
The objectives of the programme are to provide education on the SWEET research programme, the HT&Me intervention and website, and the theory behind the SWEET nurse consultations. After following the training programme, participants will have a good understanding of the purpose behind the nurse consultations and how to deliver the sessions, and how to complete the study paperwork.
The training includes five modules, including videos, written materials and interactive elements.
The SWEET programme was funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and is a collaboration between Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Newcastle University, Oxford Brookes University, Imperial College London and University College London.
