Transfusion 2024
TheTransfusion 2024 programme (T2024) began back in 2019 with a symposium organised by NHS Blood and Transplant, the National Blood Transfusion Committee, and NHS England. The symposium highlighted challenges to safe transfusion patient care and the need for a system-wide strategy to address those challenges.
The resulting plan outlined the priorities for clinical and laboratory transfusion practice for the next five years.
