This is a write-up which sheds some light on the global burden of Dengue virus with a discussion on the probable reason for change in current epidemiology. Dengue fever is a global disease and requires international attention. the stakeholders have to understand their responsibility and pay attention to the changinf trends of Dengue fever and its presentation in tropics. Dengue alone puts around 1/3rd of global population at risk of serious and complicated infections.
