This resource is designed to educate and update health-care professionals working with adults on how best to engage families and friends when your patient is in an acute mental health crisis. It focuses on listening to, learning from, involving and informing them.

Life Beyond the Cubicle has been developed by Making Families Count, in partnership with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust; co-produced by staff, service users and family carers at the Trust; supported by an Advisory Group drawn from a broad spectrum of experience and sectors; and funded by NHS England (NHSE).
