Carbon Literacy for healthcare
The Carbon Literacy for Healthcare programme is a new training pathway designed to develop carbon literacy knowledge and skills, with the goal of delivering high-quality care whilst simultaneously reducing workplace contributions to climate change.
The Carbon Literacy for Healthcare elearning (step 1) is comprised of 5 elearning modules that cover climate science, impacts and policy, before focusing on climate change and health and effective climate communication. Each module concludes with an assessment to test your knowledge.
Upon completion of your elearning, you should book onto a follow-on workshop (step 2) to complete your training and apply for your accreditation. Having focused globally and nationally in the elearning, the workshop will focus on practical emission-saving actions in your workplace setting and will be personalised to your organisation and/or workforce group.
