Rationalise

NHS England are leading parallel workstreams to optimise, rationalise and reform StatMand training, in partnership with Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), Care Quality Commission (CQC), Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) and NHS Resolution.

Whilst optimise focuses on making the most of the current framework, elearning content and passporting mechanisms, the rationalisation work focuses on what of this could be amended to reduce the burden on staff, without material additional risk.  The work involves reviewing the following areas;

• Governance
• Frequencies
• Staff Groups
