Data ingestion and management:
Upload local datasets into Foundry and set simple schema/data structures. This may be using point and click tools to upload CSV files as an example. They can convert datasets into objects which will become part of an ontology and begin using tools such as data lineage to understand versions of datasets and objects as well as creating basic links between objects.

Data manipulation and coding:
Use pipeline builder or Code Workspace to perform basic data cleansing and transformations. For example, they might use SQL or Python to filter datasets, join datasets, or perform basic aggregations. They can prepare and analyse data through coded languages using the ‘Code Workspaces’ application with the ability to install packages as required.

Data visualisation:
Use simple tools (Contour, Quiver, Workshop) to create simple front end visuals (such as bar charts, line charts and tables) that can be easily accessed by an end user. Correct application of basic filters and variables to underlying or newly created objects to ensure a functioning dashboard and visualise trends.
