Inclusive training within practice for healthcare learners and international staff

Inclusive Learning Resources (For Healthcare Learners)

This folder contains essential learning resources to help healthcare learners prepare for practice. Learners are encouraged to explore these materials alongside the guidance provided by their academic education provider.

Benefits of completing inclusive learning packages

These learning resources provide an opportunity to develop essential skills in healthcare, fostering effective and respectful interactions with a wide range of individuals including academic staff, peers, supervisors, assessors, and patients. Building these skills not only enhances your confidence and professionalism but also strengthens your employability in today’s diverse workplaces.

In addition, preparation for practice training provides UK learners with essential opportunities to bridge academic knowledge with real-world clinical experience, fostering key professional skills and ensuring greater readiness for the workforce.

Follow instructions from your academic education provider (if provided)

If you are enrolled on a healthcare programme, follow the guidance provided by your academic education institution and complete the relevant learning packages below. You may be required by your education provider to complete a number of training and learning modules as part of your induction or before starting your practice placement.

Download your certificate of completion

Upon completing each package, you have the option to download a certificate (available in the top left-hand corner of the page) and save it locally. You may also add your certificate(s) to your academic portfolio as evidence of learning, if your programme includes a portfolio requirement.
